The food is excellent. Please try the lamb casserole and steak pie. The fish and chips is also great. We had Belhaven Best beer - which is a great choice! So far, it's our favorite restaurant in Scotland!

Fantastic little pub in a picturesque part of the world. I proposed to my fiance whilst hiking nearby and didn't think ahead. Spoke to someone at the front desk and although they were fully booked they moved things around and fit us in. Not only that, they pulled out all the stops for the service they gave us a stellar dinner with all the extra add-ons. Cannot thank the staff enough! Highly recommend. Book ahead though because you can't use my excuse!

Me and my partner went to the Clachan Inn for a lovely meal. The service was incredible with polite lads that took our order and brought us food. Food roughly took 30 minutes to be made, the food was amazing and would rate it higher if I could

Went for a 100k cycle and stopped half way for food and drinks. Cocktails were amazing and also had a pizza service was very fast and quality. Pricing was surprisingly good

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Best pate I have had in years. Steak pie is incredible as well. It’s warm and charming and the ambience is exactly what you want in a small Scottish town.

Outstanding food and service. Everything was wonderful. I had the beef cheek and my partner had the pork - 10/10. The waiters were very attentive but also allowed for time between courses when wanted. Very reasonably priced too. Shame we were only visiting as this would be a regular for us if we were local!

Stopped in for a late lunch on a beautifully crisp cold day after being in Balloch. Lovely warm and welcoming pub and restaurant. We were seated in a corner table by one of the fires. Not only was the food delicious but the service was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive and the owner was in the dining room and stopped by and said hi. On a final note, a couple came in and she had an allergy. The owner, chef and everyone did a great job clarifying what the lady could eat and they made her a special sauce for her dish. Not too many places do that. Well done. We will definitely be back.

The guys welcoming us & being there during dinner service did an excellent job! We felt like at home. Their recommendations were super authentic, the food was great too! Big compliments to the Chef. I hope to be back soon. The rooms are simple but clean & have a comfortable bed. Thank you!
